Worse than bad. Hotter than hot. These are the bad boys of the Harrison Street Crew, and they answer to no one. They take what they want. And what they want is you.
Volume One of a three-part volume by Katana Collins.
Patrick Flanagan lives outside the law. The cops don’t like him. The law doesn’t trust him. He may come at you with a charm and a handsome smile, but make no mistake—he’s as reckless and bad as they come. But when a total bombshell with stilettos and a power suit comes blazing into his life, this bad boy is about to be so, so good…
The Harrison Street Crew is full of sexy, steamy, no holds barred, bad boy car lovers who chase the thrill of the road and the women around them. Outlaw features Michelle – the ADA in charge of investigating the Street Crew who is also the best friend of Charlie (the car mechanic featured in Ex-Con), sister of the conniving, running for election, Remy, and she has the hots for the bad boy, Patrick “Corkscrew” Flannigan. Patrick is childhood friends with Shane (Charlie’s new man) and the character development, inner workings, and world building between the books is done so well and flows like its all one big story put together in smaller installments.
I could summarize the story, but instead I’ll pick out what I liked most about this part. The intensity between Patrick and Michelle is OFF THE CHARTS HOTTTT!!!! They shouldn’t be together. It’s unethical, illegal, and oh so bad. But, it’s also bad in a good way and neither of them can keep their mind, or hands, off each other. While only one tryst happens in this part, it’s the catalyst to bring them together.
The only downfall, if you want to call it that, is the BANG of the ending in this part. I immediately had to go on and read the rest because I wanted to know what happened!!! That’s a true sign of an amazing story and writer.
