Enter Sasha’s dark world where half-naked warriors fight in the arena for sexual dominance.

Son of Cleopatra and Julius Caesar, Sasha is the king of kings. He’s the pharaoh, and he’s supposed to be the most powerful man in Egypt, but he’s convinced there’s something wrong with him. Maybe he’s in heat or maybe he’s just cursed, but no pharaoh should have such an insatiable need to be mated by another man. Even worse, the man he desires has never shown an inkling of interest in him.

When the young pharaoh finds himself the sole ruler of Egypt and under siege by the Romans, he has to find a way to deal with the desires consuming him or all will be lost.

This is book 1, of the series Virgin Kings
Young Sasha is co-ruling Egypt with his mother Cleopatra.  During  the time when the Romans were trying to conquer it.
Sasha is just becoming a man, when his body goes into heat. I really like the fact that he is portrayed as a confused young man.  While he has heard all the stories about his heritage.  It seems like just fantasy to him.
Adrian his long time friend, and now his personal bodyguard, has been in love with Sasha.  As he struggles to keep his emotions in check, it gets harder and harder.  I love the dynamic between Adrian and Sasha, they are just purfect together.  As tey work through all the obstacles together.
I was pleasantly surprised, this story was entertaining and spellbinding. It was well written, their is a dark sexual feel to it.  The characters are portrayed as a very sexual and open to an extent.  A great quick read, I fully enjoyed it!
