Melina Higgins is used to living in the spotlight. But trying to privately navigate a bad break up and abusive relationship is nearly impossible. Add a stalker who is getting progressively more daring into the mix, and her life is slowly turning into a nightmare. So when Officer Vance Summers walks into her life, he seems like a dream come true. Their connection is immediate and undeniable. It’s almost as if she’s known him forever.
Vance and Melina’s destiny has been disrupted once before. Could this be a second chance for their true destiny to be revealed?
*Warning* This book is intended for mature readers over the age of 18. Destiny Revealed is the conclusion to Destiny Disrupted. Although it can be read as a standalone, you will have a better understanding of the characters if you start with Destiny Disrupted. And, yes, this book has a HEA.
This is the second book and although it can be read as a standalone I would strongly recommend reading the first book!
Van has had a difficult time recovering from the head wound he received, and the mental complications that came with them. He is nothing if not determined to get his life back, it takes time but he is back and doing the job he was meant to do with his partner and one of his best friends. One minute he is good the next he is face to face with Melina the woman of his hallucination, only she is different yet he still feels the same about her.
Supermodel Melina is fighting for her life; her ex is determined to kill her when two policemen come to her rescue. Vance (Van) catches her attention right away, but bleeding and in shock she is rushed off to the hospital. Sometimes you just know when someone is your future. That’s how Melina feels about Van. Little did she know that dating Van meant she also had to accept his roommates. It’s like a zoo or a kindergarten class when she shows up one night they are all drunk and twerking, she laughed so hard. But they are her new friends and family.
When her ex keeps coming after, they all pull together to protect her as she is now one of them.
This book really wraps up all the loose ends from the first book. There is so much going on in this book with all of the characters that it is really a great read. I hope there is another one that focuses on the other men in the group. Van goes through so much but he is dedicated to Melina through it all, but when his friends need him he makes sure he is there for them to. I really enjoyed Melina because she is a personable and likable woman. She is always available to all the guys who need to talk. It’s an all over well written and easy read!
