“An unexpected evil brings both the MC and Military world together in this brand new series by J.M. Walker”
He refuses to fall in love.
He was born alone and he will die alone. Or, at least he thought so until now.
Vice-One is all he knows. His squad. His brothers. The men he spends every day protecting. He is empty and only one person can fill this void. This darkness.
Meanwhile, Genevieve Gold makes it clear he should stay away when she is everything he craves.
She is lost.
Her heart has been ripped out; stomped on…crushed into tiny pieces, leaving only a gaping hole behind.
King’s Harlots is all she has. Her club. Her sisters. Her life. But something is missing until he shows up.
Angel Rodriguez is everything she hates but everything she needs.
Angel doesn’t know what love is, his team are like brothers he would die for them. If that is love he just doesn’t know. He comes across a sexy lady in leather pants and cowboy boots and just can’t resist coming on to her. She gives him a mouthful back, which just makes him more interested. When he comes back for more they spend the night together, best night he can remember. When Jay breaks down Angel is right there to pick her right back up. He loves the fact that he is the only one she allows to see that way. When she is hurt its Angel she gets to come and get her.
Genevieve, Jay, the President of Kings Harlots MC, is lonely she has been feeling like something is missing inside of her for a while. Now if she can figure out what is missing she would be perfect. She has been looking for her twin sister since she went missing, with no luck. When she is talking to Max her VP, a gorgeous man sticks his nose in to her conversation. He would be perfect if he didn’t talk. And he won’t tell her his name! After a night like that she needs to end this, he could really hurt her. He just won’t leave her alone. So might as well use his skills. They work together when evil seems to pick Jay as a target, Angel is determined to keep her safe when stress and rival MC’s seem to be causing problems left and right.
I really liked this story it was a great blend between military and MC. You don’t get to read much about female bikers, especially when the females are in a dominant role. Jay is a great character she is strong yet still able to be venerable. Angel is an Alpha male all the way, secure enough to allow Jay to be strong and hold her up when she needs him to.
