**Read the book everyone’s talking about with this re-released, extended version of Beyond Eden—The original, darkly sexual love story that’ll leave you questioning everything you know about good and evil**
Three lifelong friends find themselves tangled in a web of love, pain and dangerous secrets in this erotic Garden of Eden tale.
Tall, dark and handsome Danny Carlow has always gotten whatever he wants except for the two he desires more than anything—his best friends, lovers Paul and Eve. Determined to claim what was never supposed to be his, Danny waits like a snake in the grass, poised for the right moment to offer them a temptation too delicious to resist.
Artist Eve Everton made the painful decision to leave her true love Paul for the siren call of New York City. Now ten years later, with her life in shambles, she returns. When Paul’s waiting arms aren’t available, Eve falls for Danny’s charm and finds herself a willing accomplice in the dangerous games Danny plays.
Paul Mattling is a successful attorney with a bright future ahead of him, but behind those brilliant blue eyes are secret desires for a taste of the forbidden. Will he play it safe or give in to Danny and Eve and bite the apple?
Reader Advisory: Not for the faint of heart, the pain in this story is vivid and real, the emotions even more so. Haunting and poignant, Beyond Eden presents a darker side of BDSM. You might gasp. You might cry. You might find yourself reading it again and again.
Wow! This is a powerful story about three people who have a history, but one man wants all control and will do anything to get it. Eden, Danny, and Paul all grew up together. Eden and Paul dated in high school, but she eventually left for the big city and Paul decided not to follow. Danny and Paul developed their own kind of relationship that worked until Eden returned. Then it became more complicated than anyone would ever imagine.
Beyond Eden is not a typical ménage story. It is so much more with a dark side. Yes, it is seriously HOT! But, each dynamic is so different from the other that it kept me sucked in wanting to read more! I did not like the character of Danny, but as the story continued and I learned more about this tortured soul, I changed my mind and grew to not only like him, but feel for him. I don’t normally enjoy this kind of BDSM or SM kind of dynamic, but it works and works well within this story. Each character is hurting in some kind of way and comes from a dark, hurtful place in life. That only intensifies their bond and how each one interacts with the other.
Beyond Eden is not for the faint of heart, but I thoroughly enjoyed it and can’t wait to read the next book!
**Re-Released prequel to Kele Moon’s darkly erotic novel Beyond Eden**
Handsome, angry and spoiled, Danny Carlow struggles to find his place in the world when his hatred for authority makes survival difficult. The only thing that keeps him from completely giving up and turning to a life of crime is his friendship with clean-cut Paul Mattling. More than his conscience and his best friend, Paul’s also the one Danny secretly pines for with every ounce of his being.
Paul is a natural over-achiever with a football scholarship and straight A’s to boast about. Yet Paul is haunted by an abusive childhood that’s left him more scarred than anyone realizes. Looking for an escape from his demons, Paul has his own deviant secrets, ones he doesn’t want anyone, especially Danny, to know about.
When dark desires are accidentally revealed Danny and Paul end up coming together in a clash of wild passion more tumultuous than either of them could have anticipated. Tasting the forbidden is sweet, but it turns the tables on their relationship, putting everything, even their lifelong friendship, in jeopardy.
Reader Advisory: This story visits the dark side of BDSM, where the only thing more intense than the scenes the characters participate in, is the love they have for one another. Please note there is a very brief F/F encounter.
Finding Eden picks up with Eden having left for New York City and Paul having to deal with the fallout. Danny, also, has to deal with the loss of his friend. We learn so much about these two men and how their dynamic/relationship came about. I was surprised at how things began and what the two boys were like in the beginning. Danny’s struggle to fulfill Paul’s needs surprised me. I thought Danny would have found it easy to give in to the darkness, but he didn’t. This story was so well done that I could not put it down! Even though Eve isn’t in this book, her memory haunts both Paul and Danny. The secondary characters, especially Jason, were well done and I enjoyed Jason. He was the Jiminy Cricket to Paul and Danny’s Pinocchio. Yes, the BDSM themes are dark and full of pain, but like the first book it works and works well. I can’t imagine how these two men would have faced life without the other.
I’m so glad that I have the final book waiting to go because I don’t know if I could have waited to read the Claiming Eden after finishing this one!
Fiercely loyal, Danny will do anything for his best friend and lover Paul. Yet when he turns to beautiful Mistress Circe for training to be a Pro-Dom Danny is forced to learn how deep his love for Paul really goes. In order to train with her Circe expects Danny to do the one thing he hates above all others…submit.
While this story is the final installment to the Eden Series and the last book released, it actually takes place before Beyond Eden and after Finding Eden. Eve is still in New York and Danny struggles with whether he is enough of a Dom for Paul or not. He goes for training as a professional Dom and has to do the one thing he struggles with – submit to Circe. I really enjoyed her character and the way she dealt with Danny. In this process, Danny learns how much Paul means to him and how much he truly loves his sub/friend. Paul, also, struggles with his sexuality and facing the fear of his family’s wrath. But, this story is more about Danny and his path to please Paul.
Like the other books, there are so very intense and HOT sex scenes and a lot of darkness. But, that is expected by now and part of the dynamic between the two men.
I’m so sad to see this series end. If you, as a reader, do not mind dark BDSM elements, S/M (done well), and a crazy dynamic between three friends who love each other in more ways than one, I HIGHLY recommend this series. Because, you cannot read just one book and understand the characters. Be warned that you will fall for them all in a surprising way.
