Dreamers’ Destiny by Tempeste O’Riley #mm #review @TempesteO @dreamspinners

Dreamers' DestinyDisclaimer MaleTAGLiam Grady is the owner of the Feathered Quill, a quirky little bookstore in Asheville, and—though he doesn’t realize it yet—a dream walker. His last relationship failed almost a year ago, and he’s not had the interest or nerve to pursue anyone he’s met since.

Cameron Danu is a tattoo artist from rural Georgia. Cameron is left without a job after his boss, Jose, is forced to close the shop after a heart attack. When Cameron learns Jose has set up an interview for him at a small tattoo parlor in Asheville, he hopes for a fresh start in a new town.

Fate brings Cameron and Liam together, and they realize they’ve met before—in their dreams. A chance encounter and a winged tattoo might lead them to their destiny—if fear doesn’t turn their dreams into a nightmare. addtogoodreads_zps55cd15da16Kim Talks TomesTAG

We all have dreams that seem real. But, what if the person in our dreams turned out to be real? That is what happens to the two MCs in this story. Cameron and Liam have been having wild, crazy, sex filled dreams of each other since their teens. Every night they come together for a night of passion and sex. Until Cam moves for his job and Liam walks into the tattoo parlor where he works and they are both shocked that the other is real. How have they been dreaming of each other? Liam is a dream walker. Their familiarity with each other allows them to hop into bed with each other after only two dates. But, with dream walking comes a threat to Liam and they must fight that evil, together.

I found this story to be fast paced and sweet. Even though Liam and Cam have been intimate for years, the fact that they meet and go on two dates before falling into bed is plausible. The added element of danger kept the story from becoming just about these two men meeting and created a reason for them to bond together and having something to fight for/against.

All in all, this was a great story that kept me interested and wanting to know more. While I thought the pace was a little fast, it didn’t take away from my enjoyment and worked out in the end.
