Kael Saunders, MI6 specialist operative and leather Daddy, has been living with Angel Button, his sub, for two years in a loving D/s relationship. Angel has been waiting for the time when he too can join MI6, knowing that his sniper skills make him a valuable asset to the organization. Kael loves to kill, it gives him an adrenalin rush, but Angel is certain his Daddy only eliminates those who pose a threat to national security, which is what Angel wants to do. Naive and idealistic, Angel wants to make the world a better place.
Angel’s beliefs are sorely tested a few days later, leaving him unsure if he wants to be an MI6 agent after all. When Kael is given an assignment in Cornwall, he takes Angel with him so they can have a weekend away. Angel finds out about the mission and the target and is left wondering if his Daddy is really the hero Angel thinks he is, placing their relationship in jeopardy.
Last one for me. Book four and should be read in order.
So book three, Kael did a couple of things and we found out a couple of things now his boss is making him go to counseling before he gets another assignment.
So we find ourselves get a mental work out along with Kael and Angel. How do you feel an this and that. and then the write up/case study. This in itself takes a big section of the book. But we also have Angel going with Kael to a training weekend. And things turning out not as everyone expected.
In this one we’ve Kael blurring the lines between Dominate and abuser in my opining which happened in one part last book when he slapped Angel very hard across the face. In this one more and more.
I enjoyed how throughout the series Angel grew as a character, matured. But This relationship with Kael doesn’t seem a healthy one. And I never really had my awww, moment with these two and just never fell in love with them.
The actually story of the assassin, MI6 going around killing the bad guys, that was a good plot. And enjoyed that.
