Angel and the Assassin Disclaimer MaleTAG

Kael Saunders loves to dominate handsome, masculine men like himself. Being in charge is his way of life whether it be in his work with the Secret Intelligence service, his personal life, or in the dungeon. The last thing he expects when he is out on a hit is to fall in love with Angel, an eighteen-year-old boy desperate for the love and guidance of a Daddy. Yet Angel also has a passion for being spanked and restrained. Two very different men find love in a world of skilled assassins, Bosnian terrorists, and dungeon play.

My first by this author, and over all it was entertaining, but I found too many issue’s with both MC’s and the actions throughout the book to really get lost in the whole story.

Loved the start of the book, the way we get a back story of Kael, his life and first kill. Just to show us, or at least what I assumed was what the character was going to be like.  The banter, the take no prisoner attitude towards his handler and life in general. That is until the second kill, when he runs into Angel, the bratty stepson of the man he just killed.

Angel, from the beginning was a character I was not fond of. The whining to start was understandable, we all thought he was going to be used and killed. But when he wasn’t and the young, whine, and then daddy naming game started. I was turned off even more.

I couldn’t get these two together in my head, this thirty plus year old and assassin to boot and this virgin teen. And then when Kael decided to fist Angel during their second time together, he was a virgin yesterday?! Okay, so I’ve never been, but I can imagine the receiver would need a little more experience, stretching? IDK.

The sub story of the bad guys following and going after them through the book was nice and did keep me focused off the actual couple.
