Sex. Rebellion. Rock and roll.
Cheyenne is a half-human incubus whose star is on the rise in the Unakite City rock scene. His father, the leader of the supernatural races, would prefer he keep a “low profile”, but screw that. Cheyenne has as much music in his veins as royal incubi blood.
Alexander’s future is all set—finish law school, join the family firm, and marry someone who’d be good for business. Not that he has a say in any of it. He’s barely met the woman his father expects him to marry.
As Cheyenne’s musical career takes off, his carefully constructed life begins to unravel, exacerbated by an ex-lover who can’t let go, a crotchety barkeeper with a dirty mind and a pure heart, a drag queen who moonlights as a nanny, and Alexander—who’s not sure if he’s falling for the incubus or the rocker.
Cheyenne denies who he is, while Alexander hides what he wants. Together, they learn that getting what they truly want means being who they truly are.
You’ve got two men, from two surprising close back grounds and very different results. But in the end the fathers want the same thing. Amazing what money and power will make someone blind to.
Cheyenne, left home ten year prior and has been living off the radar from his father ever since. But he can feel that things are coming to a head, and doesn’t know what to do about it. The one friend he thought he could trust, is more than likely selling all his secrets to the one person he doesn’t want knowing them.
Alexander, is in the last few months of law school, his father also has his life planned out, graduate, join the family firm and marry the girl they have picked out. None of which he really wants to do. He has been secretly lusting after the HAWT singer/musician for months and the more he fantasies, the more he realizes he’s life is a shame.
When Chey and ‘Zander finally meet, they have the insta connection that is hard to miss or stop reading about. In fact, this whole book I read in one day, all 260 pages. I couldn’t stop.
The different twists with supernaturals. ‘Zander discovering multi things about himself, his sister true devotion and that in fact, he does have a backbone and will stand up to his father.
Chey, his raw sexual chemistry, and talent. The cuteness we witness between him and the kids. All Just amazing.
