Guest post, Threesomes.

TM talks about books and videos that inspired her to write her very own threesome.

Hello everyone, and thank you to Crystal and the gang for hosting me today! I’m going to chat about threesomes today, since that is the core of the story in Fame and Fortune.

I am completely fascinated by the concept of threesomes. When three people can come together in a loving and committed relationship and make it work, it’s such a beautiful thing. One of the first MM books I read was also a MMF story and it sent me searching for more of both storylines, to be honest, this book is what opened the MM genre door to me.

Ishtar Anomaly:

I loved how the three people in this story had to work through the struggles of maintaining a healthy three way relationship. Then I found this lovely story that is a MM/MMF retelling of the Sleepy Hollow tale, and it only strengthened my new found joy for threesome stories!

Sleepy Hollow:

Again, I enjoyed the struggles the three had trying to navigate through; not only the stigma of the error for two men to love each other, but the issues that arose while trying to merge the three into one cohesive relationship.

~ If you are a fan of threesome stories, but don’t like the girl bits, some great suggestions would be Nicole Colville’s Manchester Ménage collection, Max Voss’ highly controversial Going Home (great book to spite the taboo content), You Can See Me by A.E.Via and Alpha Trine by Lexi Ander (if you like the SyFy type stories).

Of course I had to bone up (pun intended) on the sexual aspect of threesomes; this is where my lovely membership to Cockyboys came into play. If you’ve read Gay for Pay you already know that part of the inspiration for this threesome in Fame and Fortune was the working relationship of the 3 guys that founded and run Cockyboys. So I spent countless hours poring over the videos on their site that feature three lovely gentleman in various stages of undress and voracious love making. Yes, it was difficult, but someone had to do it. While I had plenty of visual fantasies to fuel my fire, there was one video in particular that I watched several (and by several I mean twenty!) times. Kiss/Hug/Fuck/Love. It was fanfuckingtastic! What I liked about this video more so than the others was the intro, how it showed the three men in somewhat of a relationship. They went hiking, cooked dinner and sat by a fire talking and making out. I used all that inspiration when writing Victor, Andrew and Mattie in hopes that I captured not only the sexual aspect of their relationship appropriately, but I captured the love and commitment as well.

I hope you’ll all grab a copy of Fame and Fortune and take the sometimes difficult journey with this throuple that leads them to a life they all deserve. Thanks again to the Crystal and the crew for hosting me today.

When Andrew went off to college on a scholarship to study photo journalism, he wound up falling in love with his Romanian roommate.

They became inseparable and wound up starting their own business together; a gay porn website where people could go and watch romantic gay porn instead of the rough and tough, or wham bam thank you man crap that was flooding the internet at that time. After ten years together they are perfectly happy, they don’t even realize something was missing, until they meet a broken young man that needs a family.

Matthew Carlson was homeless, jobless and broken. Matthew has done a lot of things these last few years just to get by. When he finds the flyer for All Cocks, he decides to call and see where it leads. What has he got to lose?

Matthew has deep rooted scars that aren’t usually visible on the outside. But when he walks into All Cocks, both Victor and Andrew see them, they also see him. Can three men that didn’t even realize they needed each other get past the stigma of society to find a place of happiness, together?
