At just eighteen years of age, Keir became the leader of the army fighting against the usurper king while Princes Edan and Egan led the navy. At his side, willing to help from time to time, was Sprite.
A friendly ghost, Sprite likes to keep Keir company and occasionally play tricks on Keir’s sister. When the Oracle demands Keir’s presence, he expects Sprite to travel with him.
I’ve been a fan of this series since I found it by chance, and each book just keeps getting better and better for me! I completely loved Sprite in this book! Seriously, Sprite made the book so enjoyable for me personally.
I really enjoyed how even though this is a shorter book, Eight is able to pack a bunch of information into the story but it doesn’t feel like it is overwhelming to me. All the information that was added was important to the story. I do also enjoy that even though this is the fourth book in the series, I don’t feel like you have to read the rest of the series. But there is enough information given that will entice you to read the other books.
I did love being able to follow along with the relationship between Sprite and Keir form and develop into something real. Their relationship was one that formed slowly and ended up being something powerful and wonderful.
Overall, I can’t get enough of this series and if your looking for a paranormal story that will draw you in, then I would recommend this one.
