Find what you need at the Store Front. Blood, sex…we have it all just for you.
The supernaturals have taken over the earth, leaving the humans to serve them. The Store Front is one place for the supernaturals to find partners for feeding and sexual needs. Vic, a wolf shifter, and Gale, a vampire, have a special human female they love to visit. They know the bond between them goes far beyond the bedroom, but convincing Kitty the triad should happen might not be so easy.
Kitty longs to leave the Store Front and the total darkness of the earth. The one bright spot in her day is a visit from Gale and Vic. She loves the two supernatural men, even if she can’t voice the words. Do they return her affections on a deeper level or is she just a pawn to them? She’s not sure, but she’s willing to risk her heart and get wild after dark in order to find out.
Reader Advisory: This book contains scenes of anal sex.
Shifters have taken over the world and humans are no more than blood and sex servants. Kitty has worked for William at the Store Front since the takeover and he promised protection from the supernaturals in exchange for the girls’ services. Kitty serves any that pay, but she longs for the two men who come exclusively to her for their needs. Vic and Gale are her regulars, but they have fallen deeply in love with her. After renting her services for an entire night, they try to convince her that they want to mate with her as a triad. However, Kitty doesn’t believe she is worthy of their love and goes back to the Store Front and encounters an angry William who wants her all of himself.
The author created an interesting world where the vampires and shifters have taken over the Earth. Humans are afraid of being killed by them and seek protection in any way that they can. Unfortunately, the women who service those out of the Store Front are slaves and are afraid of escaping their terrible lives for fear of death. I found the love story between Kitty, Vic, and Gale to be a little lacking. Yes, there is a hot sex, but that does not equate love and mating. Plus, Vic is the shifter and Gale is the vampire. Vic sees premonitions of him having children with Kitty, but he only has anal sex with her during this story. Wouldn’t he be the one to have her the other way?
Overall, while this was a well written tale, the lack of connection with the romantic part left me confused.
