This 67 page novella is about two men, who many years ago lived in the same small town, became friends and then for one brief moment became lovers.  Huge misunderstanding drove them apart and now years later Tristan, Co-Owner of TPI is called to Seattle to help set up a convention that his company has been hired to run. Jamie is now a doctor and is at the convention and runs into Tristan.

Tristan is all set to head to Fl for his Grandmothers 80th Birthday celebration when one of his employee’s wife’s calls. This sends Tristan to Seattle and puts his weekend plans on hold. Once there he is informed that his contact for the NFC convection is Dr. Jamie Hunter.  Tristan freaks when he sees Jamie again, all of his old feels, hurt, and anger comes to the surface but he has a job to do. Tristan reminding himself that he is a professional.  But as the days go by he’s finding it harder and harder to act natural around Jamie.

I found this to be a simple quick read about young love lost and found ten years later. Once the misunderstanding was sorted out Jamie and Tristan realized that they both have always loved each other. I didn’t get a deep emotional connection between these two and I didn’t find the story particularly deep either. But if you are looking for a sweet read before bed than this is it.
