Appearances Tour Stop! 1

Appearances, can be deceiving.Raven and Tanis are trying very hard to merge their vastly different lifestyles, but Tanis issues with his own past could prove to be more than their fragile relationship can handle. Is their love for each other strong enough to weather the oncoming storm?

Aiya and Sawyer have fought hard to be together in a world where Opposite relationships are generally forbidden. Yet, they are still forced to keep their relationship a secret while they are outside the walls of House Gaeland.

Everyone assumes that the only threat lies outside their walls, the group of rebels led by Cillian. But something is happening within House Gaeland, something that hasn’t happened since GWI. And with all the attention focused on that, their guard is down. An evil that was under their nose all along strikes, and someone will make the ultimate sacrifice to save another.

Appearances is the second book in the Opposites series, the series should be read in order.

This is the second book in T.M. Smith’s Opposites series.  Okay I love this series and all of the characters involved.
In this book I really like how we were able to see how deep the bond between Cirian and Rian is. I think it really helps the reader understand how Aiyan and Aiya are able to form such strong relationships so quickly with their respective partners.  One of the elements that makes this series so unique and amazing is how we get to watch so many couples
develop during the same book.  I love the point of view changes and how Raven and Tanis take more of center stage during this book.
The first book in this series ended with a huge revelation that surprised me but this book takes the cake.  I was not expecting the curve ball the author throws at the end.  All I can say is I am desperate for the next book in this series.
A great continuation to a truly unique series and please write the next one soon!

Aiya, Maeve and Sawyer.
Hello all, and thank you so much to Crystal and all her reviewers for not only hosting me today, but helping me host this amazing blog tour! One of Crystal’s favorite relationships in my series is the odd trifecta of Aiya, Maeve and Sawyer. Aiya is the daughter of the current ruling house, House Gaeland, twin sister of Aiyan, wife of Maeve and lover of Sawyer. She’s a busy girl. A lot of what you see with Aiya and Maeve comes directly from my life experiences with my best friend of close to eighteen years. Her and I are soul mates, we will grow old together. We aren’t in a relationship of the romantic type, but we love each other fiercely none the less. I wanted to show that two woman can share that kind of love, that kind of bond, be as closer if not closer than lovers and stay by each other’s side through anything.
The addition of Sawyer to the mix should have been a thorn in Maeve’s side, for all intents and purposes. But she welcomes him with open arms. As you read Appearances, you’ll see a conversation between Maeve and Sawyer where they discuss this, and I hope it gives the readers further insight into this odd threesome. The bond they share as a whole is only going to grow stronger as the books progress. For those that are curious, yes, Maeve is going to find that kind of love eventually. But there is a lot that has to happen before she can be open to it again. There is still some pain she hides over what happened with Autumn. To put that kind of trust in a person, to love them and then have that trust betrayed cuts deep.
I haven’t decided which route I’m going to take as far as the marriage goes as of yet. Will Aiya and Maeve remain married? How will that translate to a future with Sawyer and a significant other for Meave when the time comes? Perhaps Sawyer will be Aiya’s concubine? Remember, their Opposite relationship is still a secret to most people, it’s not known yet how the other Ambassadors will react when they learn the truth.
Lots of food for thought! Again, thank you Crystal and all the reviewers for having me here and helping me celebrate the release of Appearances. Until next time…
