Let me start by saying that I love cowboy/western stories. And this book did not disappoint me!!!Michelle is a romance novel writer whose last couple of books have just not made the cut. Her latest stint at writing a western has not turned out too well and her editor has sent her to do some “cowboy research”.

Tag is a cowboy in need of a wife ASAP!! His grandmother has made it impossible for him to gain full ownership of the family ranch. That is unless he finds a wife and starts a family.

As Michelle heads over to her research she has an unexpected accident. One which makes her lose her memory. In less than a few hours she has lost her memory and is now set to marry a cowboy she barely knows. But somehow she  seems to trust. Since she doesn’t remember her real name she makes up one. Lee Stetson. What it’s supposed to be a marriage of convenience soon begins to turn into something else? “Lee” falls in love with Tag, but once she remembers her real name, can this cowboy really love this city gal!?

I loved loved loved that this book was based on an author’s life and struggles as a writer. It is hard to come up with plots and characters and sometimes you do have to so just a tad of extra research. Every character in this book was amazingly described. There were 2 main characters but the secondary characters were perfectly in tune with the story!! This book deserves a 5/5 rating and will look forward to reading more from this author!!
