It’s full of suspense and mystery. It’s also worth putting out there that this book has a whopper of a cliffhanger. Usually, this annoys me, but with this book, it didn’t. I get it, the story needed to have this book as the set up for more later. I’m ok with it, I think you will be too. And now I can’t wait for book 2.
Another thing, besides the off the chart steam, that I really liked about this book is that the writing is really good. It’s emotional and intense, and the characters are well constructed and interesting. It’s a page turner. The plot captures the reader from the beginning. I was actually surprised at how into the book I was…totally didn’t see that one coming. 4 stars!
