Crystal’s Review:
With a book such as this, just by reading the title you already know what is going to happen.  The one thing that is most important is how the story has been written.  That will tell you if the book itself is good, or if it’s going to be just like the many other books out there.
This book had it’s a good points, parts that did set it aside from others such as it, in my opinion.  There were some twists that took place that I didn’t see coming, and I enjoy reading books where I can’t figure it out right away.
But on the other hand, there were also parts of this book that I could see coming.  I think that could be because I read so much that it takes a lot for me to have NOT read something already.
The different characters that were in this book all had their own personalities.  And with how many of them
there are, I give mad props to the author because it had to have been a pain trying to make each character their own “person”.  Another thing with a story line like this, it’s not always about what happens in the books, the characters, even the secondary ones, all play a big role in if the story will work out.  One thing I enjoyed that she did with the different characters, even though we knew Mark and Sophie were the main characters, all of them each had their own time in the lime light.  But they didn’t completely take over the story itself.  We were able to see how everyone interacted with each other.
This is the first book that I have read by the author, and I do have to say that I enjoyed it quite a bit.  I will be on the lookout for other books by her!
